Pelican Perch is the perfect beach getaway. Located in desirable Morgantown, on a quiet cul-de-sac, this 5-bedroom home is a short stroll to the beach as well as both pools and the tennis pickleball courts. This spacious, well-designed home offers 5 bedrooms and comfortably accommodates 12 guests. Our pet friendly property, with preapproval, means the whole family can join in the fun.

Guests are delighted to discover the outdoor living space on the ground level. Family fun activities include corn hole and ping pong. Or, watch the big game on the outdoor TV!

The Space

The open floor plan features a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking and entertaining. The lower level has two bedrooms, one room with a Queen bed and the other is a bunk room with 2 triple bunk beds (Twin/Twin/Twin). There is also a full bath with a tub/shower combo.

Head upstairs where you'll find 3 additional bedrooms. There are two King rooms, both with balcony access. One of the King rooms also has a private en suite bath. There is also a bedroom with a Queen bed and a Twin bed. In addition to a full bath, the laundry room is a conveniently located on the upper level.

Pelican Perch boasts two larger porches where you can relax and take in the beautiful views of the Gulf of Mexico. The newly rebuilt back deck offers privacy and the perfect spot to fire up the grill for a delicious BBQ. The community amenities include 2 outdoor pools, a fenced kiddie pool and tennis/pickleball courts. There are also 4 beach access boardwalks within walking distance from the house, making it easy for you to access the stunning white sands of the Gulf

We have a minimum age requirement of 25 years for renters, strictly enforced. Our beach house is non-smoking and non-vaping, inside and out, including porches and balconies. All access to the house is by stairway.

Fort Morgan and Morgantown

Morgantown is a lovely, unique seaside community featuring two swimming pools, a kiddie pool, two lighted tennis/pickleball courts and several beach access boardwalks. When you first arrive, you'll notice pride of ownership in this pastel colored, beautifully landscape neighborhood. Guests really enjoy walking and biking along the quiet streets and many rent golf carts and enjoy sunset drives. If you have small children or just prefer the convenience of parking close to the beach, there is a public lot just to the west of Morgantown.

Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.

Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.

Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.
