Welcome to your "Beach Retreat"! Book today and be one of the first to stay in this beautifully updated and sophisticated cottage! This home sits at the end of the street and has a direct view of the water! A short stroll down the street and you'll have your toes in the sand. This wonderful 3 bedroom, 3 bath home is nestled in the small beachfront community of Heritage Shores. There are two outdoor swimming pools, a covered picnic pavilion and tennis court just a few doors away from Beach Retreat. Located on the small strip of land that separates the Gulf of Mexico from Mobile Bay, this home is uniquely situated to enjoy views of both. Pro-Tip: All three bedrooms have upgraded private en suite bathrooms.
The Space
The kitchen features new quartz countertops, stainless steel appliances and more than enough workspace for even the most ambitious chef! The oversized dining table very easily seats ten so the entire group will enjoy mealtime together. After a fun day of beach adventures, you'll appreciate the ample and comfortable living room to enjoy movies, games or just catching up on the day's activities.
Two bedrooms have King beds and the third has a Queen, all with private baths. With two additional sleeper sofas, there are plenty of beds for everyone! Everything you need to have a great beach vacation is here.
You'll want to head outside and relax in an Adirondack chair and enjoy the picturesque views from the deck. Or head down the street and you'll find a beautiful white sand beach.

Fort Morgan and Heritage Shores
Heritage Shores is a quaint community of well-maintained homes and is located on the Fort Morgan Peninsula. You'll appreciate the quiet beaches, 2 community swimming pools and tennis courts. You'll also find a pool house with restrooms and plenty of tables and chairs for lunch breaks and board games.
Located a scenic 20 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.
Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.
Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.

We enjoyed our stay at Beach Retreat! Short walk to the beach and pool, very spacious and comfortable. Plenty of seating in the living room with two sofa beds and a loveseat. Large table so we could all sit together. Beautiful view of the bay sunsets and a small view of the ocean from the front. Downsides were extremely firm mattresses, needed more silverware and tricky operating the dishwasher. We had problems with the breakers tripping if running the washer, dryer and other appliances at the same time. Didn’t have an iron or hair dryer so take one with you. We would stay here again!

We had a great time! The house was absolutely gorgeous and was just a 2 min walk to the beach. The area where the house was located was nice and quiet, kid friendly and not far of a drive from all the restaurants and family fun parks. We will definitely be staying here again.

Beach Retreat was very clean and well-stocked. The neighborhood was quiet, peaceful, and well-kept. A two minute walk took us to the beach. We never ran out of hot water, even with all 9 of us showering after the beach. The beds were spacious and comfortable. We were short one set of sheets and the property manager solved that within the hour. We highly recommend Beach Retreat and plan to stay again.
