Highlights
The one thing Beach Shack isn't is a Shack! This gorgeous cottage has just undergone a total transformation and you will not believe your eyes. The first thing you'll notice is the brand new, expansive decking that runs the entire width of the house. Imagine yourself sitting right there at the water's edge enjoying that morning coffee or evening cocktail. Plenty of high-end deck furniture so there is comfortable seating for all. There's even a bar height table and chairs in the event you choose to dine al fresco. Pro-Tip: Listen for the roar of the Blue Angels. You'll have a front row seat as these skillful pilots practice their maneuvers and formations along the coastline.
The Space
But the view doesn't stop at the deck! Step inside to the fresh, new living room with all new windows, flooring and furniture. This is the perfect spot for TV watching, hanging out or gazing at the phenomenal view just outside. You'll find a large dining table with seating for 6 and the counter provides additional seating for 5 so your entire group can dine at the same time.
The kitchen is a showstopper with designer granite, stainless appliances and a farmhouse sink. You'll really appreciate the finishing touches that Beach Shack provides for those nights when you choose to dine in.
Beach Shack offers 3 bedrooms. There is a King bedroom with a private bath (stand up shower) and a second King Room that shares the hall bath (tub/shower combination) with the bunk room. The bunk room contains a Full over Full bunk bed. There is also a sleeper sofa that provides additional sleeping space.

* Dogs considered with a $100 non-refundable per pet fee, maximum of 2 dogs
* Renter must be at least 25 years of age. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
This unit has an outdoor BBQ pit, guests will need to provide charcoal and lighter fluid.
Fort Morgan
Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.
Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.
Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain, and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.

This was our second stay at Beach Shack. The location is amazing! Even though the weather was less than perfect, we spent most of our time on the porch. There's something therapeutic about laying in a comfy bed at night, listening to ocean waves.
The house is bright and cheery and we've recommended it to several of our friends.

The house was perfect for our girls trip.. house was just as the pictures showed. The only thing I can say that needed attention was some spots in the floor that were messed up.. with that being said that would not keep me from renting it and I will be renting again for future trips..

We absolutely enjoyed our stay at the Beach Shack. My dream of bringing my pup to the beach as been fulfilled. The house was well maintained, has all the modern touches and accurately matched the pictures on the website. We loved the beach access, outside shower, covered porch, well equipped kitchen and comfortable bedding. The kitchen comes with all the pots, pans, grilling items you would need - there is a toaster and coffee maker. (Bring you own coffee, seasonings, sauces etc). Don't forget to pack bug spray. (so happy to have seen other's reviews before traveling). All bedrooms come with TVs and the living room one is perfect for the family and football!
The owner provided quick responses to any questions or concerns (we were travelling during Hurricane Helene). We spent most of our time on the beach, but did check out Selah Coffee and Fort Morgan Pizza which were both good. We hope to be back soon with family and friends.
No complaints at all, only that the vacation is over.

This home was the perfect getaway for my family. We grew up visiting Ft Morgan and when dad was diagnosed with cancer, his wish was to spend some time there. I found this house about a month before we wanted to visit. When we got to the Beach Shack, I was almost in tears of how perfect it was. The view was amazing, with easy beach access. The house has space in the most important part, the living area. The beds were comfortable. The AC worked really well! There’s an outside shower that’s perfect for rinsing off after a beach day. I can’t say enough good things about this place! We will definitely be back!

This is an awesome beach house to live in. The location is perfect and we enjoyed the view very well. Also, our kids and dog were very happy at this place. The only small suggestion is there were a lot of small biting flies around the house. We got several bites from the small flies staying on the deck, and it may be great if you can treat them.

We were very pleased with our stay. The online photos are very accurate & it's very nicely updated. We slept in the beachside bedroom & the bed was very comfortable. Listening to the waves every night was so relaxing.
The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, cookware & necessary small appliances. The bathroom had great water pressure and plenty of fluffy towels.
The outdoor furniture was very nice & perfect for meals outside & relaxing during the day.
The property manager was very responsive & kind when we had an unfortunate situation with our dog & the screen door. The end result was more than fair.
The only issue was our gps told us we'd arrived at Privateer Ct. It took a min for us to figure out we had to go to the next driveway. LOL
I have already recommended this property to friends & sent them the link.

We had the most wonderful time at this perfect cottage right on the beach! Beautifully decorated, awesome kitchen & supplies, comfy beds, fabulous views (loved all the windows). We absolutely loved our stay at the Beach Shack! It was the perfect size for our family of 4 plus Papa (with room to spare for more). Being able
to see my family out on the beach when I came inside to make lunch is just fabulous. The ease and convenience of being right there is priceless. The kitchen was well stocked for the nights we cooked in and plenty of room for many people to sit and eat. Now this may sound silly but the amount of towel hooks throughout the house was AMAZING! So many places to hang all the towels and swimsuits! We will definitely be back to Beach Shack as it’s a winner for us!

Location could not be better - not just super-close to the beach, but far, far away from in-laws. My family absolutely loved our experience at Beach Shack! Going out the door for a short distance straight to the beach was fabulous! The only draw back...and no fault to the property...was getting my 80 year old mother in the house due to the sands shifting under her feet. Once we got her in, she stayed at the house and enjoyed the beauty from the deck. We would definitely stay here again.

My family and I love Fort Morgan so much. Our previous beach rental was sold and is no longer being rented out so we have been looking for somewhere to call our "home" for our annual beach trip. We couldn't have asked for better than the Beach Shack. From the open space concept to the beautiful kitchen this home exceeded all expectations. We loved being right on the beach and we so enjoyed our couple of days there. I only wish we were able to stay longer but we look forward to coming back again.

We enjoyed our stay at this cute beach house which is right on the beach. The house is super clean and recently redone; however, a few areas of the floor felt squishy, making me a bit uneasy. I will note we’ve never stayed directly on the beach before so this is possibly normal this close to the beach. We have never stayed in Fort Morgan before and were not expecting the view of the oil derricks all along the coast.

Coastal View Vacations
We really enjoyed our stay at the beach shack. The location on the beach was perfect for a quiet, relaxing vacation. The house had everything we needed. Check in was a breeze. We had no issues the whole trip. If you do want to goto Gulf Shores the drive is super simple, but takes about 20ish min.
We spent most of our time on the porch watching the ocean and the birds. Staying in November is nice because there are so few people. We barely saw anyone on the beach. The weather was still warm ebough to enjoy our time outdoors.
I would recommend to others wanting to stay in a house on the beach.
