Welcome to Sun Kissed West! This cozy, small dog friendly, Ft Morgan duplex beach cottage is the perfect, affordable choice for your gulf front vacation! The first thing you'll notice when you arrive is the new, expansive deck that will provide you with spectacular sunset views! Imagine yourself on one of the Polywood lounge chairs watching the sun sink below the horizon.
This adorable cottage has an open floor plan with comfortable seating area where you'll get more of that million-dollar view. You'll find counter stools for dining and a full kitchen for fixing simple meals. For those nights when you want to dine out, you can make the 15-minute scenic drive into town or try one of many tasty local options.
The master bedroom features a king bed where you can wake up to the amazing Gulf view. The second bedroom has a full bed and a twin over twin bunk. This home has one full bath and one-half bath. Guests really appreciate the convenience of having a house right on the beach. Returning for drink refills, snacks or quick nap takes just seconds.

Fort Morgan
Located a scenic 15 miles from Gulf Shores, you'll find everything you need close at hand. Dollar General and Sassy Bass Market are just a few miles away and have all the basics you might need. There are several restaurants nearby offering a variety of tasty dishes. Tacky Jack's, Sassy Bass (2 locations), Coast and brand-new Jesse's (opening soon) to name a few. Some venues even offer live, local entertainment.
Fort Morgan fishing pier is now open, and anglers will have access to convenient inshore fishing and the abundant species locally available.
Be sure and visit nearby Bon Secour Wildlife Refuge with over 7,000 acres of coastal habit. You'll be able to hike through the preserve and observe local flora and fauna. There are 4 trails, varying in size and terrain and you'll definitely want to make time to visit this natural oasis.

What a prefect place to stay! Cozy house right on the ocean. Every single experience we had with the rental agency as perfect! They kept me updated with texts and emails prior to our visit, checked to make sure all was ok when we checked in, and left us a number to reach out to if we had any questions while we were there. Check in couldn’t have been easier! The house was so clean and had everything we could need. To be able to go from the beach to the house so easily was nice. Local restaurants within a quick drive. We had the perfect vacation!

This duplex was perfect for my family of 5! The whole of the space isn’t large but it was plenty for us (3 small kids). It is updated and well kept. The location to the beach can’t be beat! We had a wonderful time and would highly recommend to a small family.

This is a great little house, right on the beach, and with fantastic views from the decking. It is attractively simple and perfect for a small family (2 adults, 2-3 kids). It's also within easy driving distance of local restaurants and stores. We had a great time, and will definitely come back.

We and our dog had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this charming and super clean beach rental. The rooms are nicely decorated and remodeled. The expansive deck had nice furniture. Nothing beat being right on the ocean! It was in a peaceful location as well as close to restaurants. Great communication with management. Will visit again.

What an amazing stay. You can't get any closer to the powder soft sand and the surf.
The house was well appointed, cozy and comfortable. Would highly recommend this property especially considering some brand new remodeling the owner has planned that will make the property even more perfect than it already is.
As for the property management company, Coastal View is top notch and truly cares about their customers and owners. We've used many property managers for vacations all over the country in the past, and no one holds a candle to Coastal View

Love this place and the location . The duplex was accommodating for our stay, everything we needed to be comfortable. When check in time came I got a test from a representative, which was super nice. We love Fort Morgan and the beaches are beautiful! This time of the year it is not very crowded.

Had a great time with my siblings. House was nice and clean. AC unit quit Saturday afternoon. Repairman did not get there until 10:30 that night. Unit quit again by morning. Old ac unit. Needs to be replaced. Other than that was a great stay. Outside the house needs updating

We had a great stay. My only complaints:
1. Had to sweep up sand from living room when we got there first thing. I am sure it was as small as someone forgetting something and running on to get it and tracking sand in on their feet. But when you are told you cannot access property till a certain time because a cleaning crew has to clean first and then cannot walk barefoot in the unit on first entry because sand is all over, well that is annoying the first 5 minutes of your vacation. This was not just a little grit either. Sand is inevitable at the beach, however, we do not walk inside with our shoes, but leave them outside or immediately on a Sand is inevitable at the beach, however, we do not walk inside with our shoes, but leave them outside or immediately on a towel by the door. Otherwise spotless.
2. Not a complaint but an annoyance. Would be nice that if there is a gate at the top of the stairs as it did and was appreciated, that it had an appropriate way to keep it latched. There was a bungie chord which kept coming off when releases and was too stretched to try to tie on and then was too shorty. Had no tools so we could not bend one end around the hook to keep it on. The latter would be an easy fix for the next guest with pliers.
3. If there was a third, what can you do about the whole vacation being over too **** fast?!!!
We had a great time despite the weather.
