Snowbirds Come to Gulf Shores

Snowbirds come to Gulf Shores every winter to take advantage of lighter crowds, restaurant specials and a great sense of community with other long term guests.  The weather can be spectacular this time of year and you'll enjoy all the area's attractions without the long lines.  Many of our properties are pet friendly so the entire family can join in the fun.  

In times past, Snowbirds used to be retirees who wished to avoid the snow and cold temperatures of northern winter. In recent years, younger people have also found they can enjoy working remotely from Gulf Shores. Our premum vacation rentals offer high speed internet, so all you need to bring is your remote office and a wander lust for our beaches in the winter. Those who suffer from seasonal affective disorder and wish to enjoy the gulf's longer daylight hours are welcome, as well!

Sugar white beaches, mild temperatures, and beautiful turquoise waters come standard. It's an ideal paradise for those who prefer to get out and socialize. Flock together with others from your state's snowbird clubs or enjoy meeting sun lovers from all over. You'll enjoy everything from bridge parties, potluck socials, golf outings, tennis, pickleball, and more. 

There are established snowbirds clubs from Pennsylvania, Illinois, Missouri, Iowa, Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Minnesota, New York, and Wisconsin. Shouldn't there be a club for you and your friends? 2025 will be a great year to start one!
