Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo 

Open Daily 9-4pm - Giraffe feeding, 10-11 am, and 2-3pm. Sloth, Lemur, and Kangaroo Adventures. (weather permitting) The Zoo is located at 20499 Oak Road East, Gulf Shores, AL. Adults $22.95, Senior (62+) & Military $19.95, Children $14.95, under 2 FREE The Alabama Gulf Coast Zoo is home to exotic animals, including lions, tigers, bears, macaws, reptiles, and more! It also features a domestic barn, seasonal animal encounters, and interactive animal shows during the spring and summer months. 

Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge 

The visitor contact station is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. CST. Trails and beach access locations are open from sunrise until sunset 7 days a week. Located 50 miles due west of Pensacola, Florida, and 50 miles southeast of Mobile Alabama. Bon Secour National Wildlife Refuge is one of 540 refuges in the National Wildlife Refuge System administered by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. 

Golf 

Up for a round or two of golf?  Check out Peninsula Golf and Racquet Club and Kiva Dunes for premier courses. Or, check out one of the many miniature golf courses like Adventure Island in Gulf Shores and Pirates Island Adventure Golf in Orange Beach. 

The Hangout Gulf Shores 

Famous for live music, they are also home to the Hangout Music Fest in May, Pirates & Princesses Breakfast all summer long and the Oyster Cook-Off in November. Always fun with a touch of nostalgia, there's something for all ages. Games, dancing, music, contests & entertainment start early in the morning and don't stop until closing during the summer at The Hangout. The foam machine revs up and kids (even adult-sized) run amuck through an avalanche of foamy bubbles. There's a gigantic sandbox, a fire pit, a giant shaka hand, a mermaid bar, vintage lunchboxes, rubber duckies, matchbox cars, Pez containers anda 15 foot wishing wall, and hair braiding & henna tattoos. The Wharf 

The Wharf Amphitheater is an entertainment venue unlike any other on the Gulf Coast. With a capacity of just under 10,000 seats, the Amphitheater is a host to national and regional performers throughout the year.

 Fort Morgan    Operated by the Alabama Historical Commission, Fort Morgan was completed in 1834 and is one of Alabama's National Historical Landmarks. OWA
