Some beach areas allow dogs and there are plenty of restaurants that allow you to dine with them, too. These are some of our favorites. We recommend you call ahead to make sure their pet policy hasn’t changed.
Tacky Jack's is a Gulf Shores Restaurant with a unique style. They offer a fun, casual dining experience and you can visit by land or by sea. They're located on the Intracoastal Waterway and have a great view of the passing boats and barge traffic. Their burgers, nachos, seafood and famous bushwackers are pawsome.
"Fresh fun served daily", The Hangout is family dining done right. Fun, fresh and delicious Gulf Coast inspired favorites with a wide array of local seafood options. Seasonal seafood straight from the local waters and locally sourced ingredients. Lunch and dinner year round and breakfast during the summer. Games, dancing, music, contests and entertainment start early in the morning and don't stop until closing during the summer. The foam machine revs up and kids (even adult-sized) run amuck through an avalanche of foamy bubbles. There's a gigantic sandbox, a fire pit, a giant shaka hand, a mermaid bar, vintage lunchboxes, rubber duckies, matchbox cars, Pez containers and a 15 foot wishing wall, hair braiding and henna tattoos. Adults mingle at the outdoor bar while grooving to live music on the outdoor stage. Big screen sports and a live DJ are daily attractions.

These neighbors feature a variety of Gulf seafood, quality American cuisine and carefully crafted cocktails. Food is prepared using the freshest ingredients and all seafood comes from the Gulf of Mexico, by way of Bon Secour, AL. Dining atmosphere is casual and you can eat on the porch too!
Upon entering Kitty's Kafe, locals and visitors alike are greeted by a warm, friendly, casual family atmosphere. Whether joining for a Southern Style Country Breakfast, enjoying one of their many delicious lunch items, or one of their scrumptious entrees, their food is prepared daily from the freshest ingredients. Dine and enjoy a cocktail from the full service bar.
